She has worked in Disability Services for 43 years. She holds an Ed.D from Columbia University, Teachers College and received an honorary Doctorate of Letters from Muhlenberg College in 2020. Dr. Brown consults with many families, students, school districts and institutions of higher education.  <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Brown has appeared on Good Morning America, CBS News and NPR. She has co- authored <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Students-Asperger-Syndrome-College-Personnel\/dp\/1934575399\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cStudents with Asperger\u2019s: A Guide for College Professionals,\u201d (2009)<\/a> &#8211; also published in Japanese 2017,  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Parents-College-Students-Autism-Spectrum\/dp\/1934575895\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cThe Parent\u2019s Guide to College for Students on the Autism Spectrum,\u201d (2012)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Social-Behavior-Self-Management-5-Point-Adolescents\/dp\/1934575917\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Social Behavior and Self-Management (2012)<\/a> along with many textbook chapters and articles. <\/p>\n<p>She received the Ron Blosser Dedicated Service Award from AHEAD in 2019.
